Jay’s 10:00 PM show will go on hiatus February 1. After the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot.
Under the contract Jay Leno had been working under, he was guaranteed the 10 PM hour.
By moving him to 11:35, NBC was in breach of his contract and needed to negotiate a new deal. That is now done, sources tell TMZ.
So Conan O’Brien is out, and Jay is restored.

This is the thing, yes I know Jay Leno is more established than Conan right now.
If I was the NBC executive, I would be thinking about the future.
Conan is 47.
