Gemstones is back! This morning, the Chicago emcee let loose his much-anticipated latest mixtape, Elephant In The Room. This mixtape (his first project since 2010’s On The Road To Glory: My Story) marks the return of Gemstones, and he makes his return in a big way, showcasing why he shouldn’t be left out of the discussion of best rappers out there. Leading up to the release of Elephant In The Room, we caught up with Gemstones for an in-depth interview, where he talked about his career, working with Lupe Fiasco, the death of his close friend St. Nic, his relationship with Chilly, and much more.
