One of my favourites JD Era has chosen April 16, 2012 as the release date for his mixtape No Handouts. If you remember in our interview with JD Era and Raekwon this mixtape I believe will be what puts JD Era on the international stage. With Raekwon behind him and the buzz Era has building his whole career, it’s his time now. Pay attention world another superstar in the making.
D.O. just released the first single from his upcoming album Heavy In The Game. It’s On is produced by Classified and features Chad Hatcher on the hook. This song really describes D.O.’s journey as an MC for the past 10 years. Be on the lookout for the video coming soon.

A great interview conducted by Carson Daly in Austin, Texas. Daly caught up with Kendrick Lamar at SXSW to talk about Kendrick’s debut album and what he expects from himself, even though I think Section 80 and Overly Dedicated are albums in my opinion. I got the opportunity to link up with AZ when he was in Toronto for Rock The Bells which featured Nas, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and Lauryn Hill. AZ had a few minutes after he came back from an after party with Nas and Preemo. AZ talked to me about Doe Or Die 2, a follow up after the classic Doe or Die, he told us it’s on a whole another level since it’s been 15-16 years in the making. Another common remark you hear about AZ is how underrated and unappreciated he is, so he told us what he thought about that. One of the best tracks on Game’s latest “The RED Album”, he just released The City featuring Kendrick Lamar. I’m glad Game released the visuals to this, even though Game went hard Kendrick last verse is just out of this WORLD. Directed by Matt Alonzo the video is shot in L.A.
