When people ask how my interview was with a certain artist, my most common answer is that they are down to earth, humble, cool, etc. In my interview with Stalley just by watching you can tell how confident, focused, and yes humble he is. We talked about his hometown of Massillion, Ohio, why he chose to align himself with Maybach Music Group, the joy he gets performing as an artist on the come up and much more.
Make sure to also check out a clip we released from this interview about the genre of Intelligent Trunk Music.

Now that Entourage is officially over, I’m so happy How to Make it in America is starting its second season. I don’t remember how I got put on to this show last year but it was one of the only shows next to Entourage that I watched. Below you can see what Season 2 is going to be about and also a quick recap of Season 1. Enjoy!!

It’s a trip that I interviewed AZ last week and met Premo, Pete Rock and gave Nas a pound. Now I just have to meet Common and Hov….Check out the full post to view all the photos from Nas birthday.

With a previously cancelled show that was originally scheduled on July 30th 2011 one day before the popular sold out OVO fest by drake, and a month jam packed with more than enough hip hop concerts to choose from in Toronto, many including myself were a little skeptical as to whether kid Cudi, Aka Mr. Rager would be able to deliver to an audience and city that has been spoiled over the last few months with hip hop concerts. Then I realized as I looked out into the adolescent; skinny jeans, hoodie wearing crowd this isn’t your typical “hip hop concert”.

I’m glad the Airplane Boys made a video for Ice Age, definitely a track that bumps in the car and really highlights what the Airplane Boys are about. Download their EP ‘Where’ve’ You Been’ on their website.

You know how websites always talk about exclusives but you see it on a million other places….well we can say this is really an exclusive because The Come Up Show was the only allowed media outlet to take photos and video of J.Cole. Special thanks to Mike Manuel and Mike Shaw check out the photos shot by Drew and make sure to check out our video coverage as well.

Better late than Never but this is amazing coverage of “Nasty” event coverage during Caribana weekend.

ONEXONE put on a show last weekend at the Kool Haus in Toronto consisting of Lupe Fiasco, Kardinal Offishall and Melanie Fiona. This charity concert was an effort to raise awareness and funds for children in need in Canada, the United States, Haiti, and around the world. Our photographer Drew took amazing photos once again, check out the gallery exclusively on The Come Up Show.
