Kids These Days comes from Chicago but their music comes from everywhere. With three horns, a rapper, a blues-rock trio and a female singer, KTD blends a wide range of influences — hip-hop, jazz, soul.

Either way this collective of dope artists/musicians makes the nicest music. They recently played Bluesfest in Ottawa and are set to play Lollapalooza next week. I’ve gotten confirmation from them last week that this song will be featured on TCUS’s upcoming mixtape….STAY TUNED.

Richie Blackz did it again with a new single for the city. He and Jon Lines both hit me on Twitter with this track on Thursday and I’ve been showing friends and what not all weekend – errybody agrees that this shit knocks. Regardless of what you think now or later -the city has definitely been needing something like this and I’m glad to say I live here.

I acquired Big Sean’s album Finally Famous this morning and it has been on repeat all day……yep.

Remember back when Kanye was on that huge media blitz after all the Taylor Swift/MTV Awards drama and was just straight killing it? He got a Twitter account, started U-Streaming and basically just started becoming more open to the public about his life. Well he stopped by the offices at Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace to talk and perform some tracks….this being one of them. There was also another video that came out of a performance where he did this song to a Billy Joel sample which IMO sounded better.
