The Come Up Show is a multi-media presentation of Hip-Hop culture: The Come Up Show Radio is an award winning radio show that broadcasts every Saturday from 6-8pm on 94.9FM CHRW in London, Ontario, Canada; The Come Up Show TV consists of over hundreds of videos from original interviews with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Method Man, and J. Cole to independent artists such as The Airplane Boys, Shad, and many more. This is all housed by The Come Up Show website which includes daily music posts, reviews, concert reviews, original high quality photography, and much more. The Come Up Show website was launched in January 2010 and has been linked by the Hip-Hop industry’s biggest websites such as 2dopeboyz, Nahright, Hip-Hop DX, Complex Magazine B.E.T. and many more. Nowadays music websites are a dime a dozen, regurgitating the same content, and it’s increasingly difficult to succeed as a new website, since the blogosphere is oversaturated. But with The Come Up Show Radio show, original video/photo production, music blog, concert coverage and the relationships with the music industry, The Come Up Show has proven itself as a credible and respected media outlet. “We are your guide. We are your filter. We are your trusted destination for feel good music. Whatever your specific Hip-Hop inclination, authenticity is often the common denominator. And The Come Up Show, in all its facets, is unequivocally authentic. Authentic in it’s purpose, authentic in its passion, authentic in its preparation, authentic in its presentation – The Come Up Show will help you live the culture you love.”- Written by Jonathan Brown.

Quotes from The Come Up Show team members who began with The Come Up Show as interns.

From Martin Bauman aka M-Bomb as a Music Blogger. When I joined The Come Up Show, I didn’t care what role I had on the team; I just knew that I wanted to be involved. I knew it would open doors for me, but never could I have imagined how soon those opportunities would start knocking, or how often. Within the first month of my internship, I had opportunities to interview Iron Solomon and David Banner. From then on, the interview opportunities only continued. In the past 8 months alone, I’ve interviewed over 20 artists, including Brother Ali, Phonte, Skyzoo, Fashawn, Soul Khan, Kayo, SonReal, and many others. I’ve developed relationships with artists and their management, and discovered more hip-hop this past year than I have in the rest of my lifetime. Believe me when I say the opportunities at The Come Up Show are limitless. It’s up to you to see the potential and make the most of it.

From Michael Lavictoire aka Mlav as a Music Reviewer and Blogger. Since my internship began in March 2012, it has been a pleasure to work for The Come Up Show. As an individual interested in the music industry, I have been fortunate to attend and publish reviews in regards to several different artists and their performances. After completing a course in Radio Broadcasting at Mohawk College, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my knowledge while gaining experience every step of the way. Being a content provider and writer for The Come Up Show has enriched my learning, giving me the ability to grow as a person. There really are no boundaries for doing something in which you truly enjoy.

We’re only accepting applications for concert photographers in London and Toronto Canada at the moment! Make sure to join our email newsletter to be notified when our next internship period begins.
